PERMODALAN NEGERI SELANGOR BERHAD (PNSB) is a state of Selangor Government owned company cordially invites any interested party to invest in vast aviation business activities spectrum on a land located at Selangor particularly Subang International Airport vicinity.
INTRODUCTION
The aviation industry in Selangor has been marked as one of the prominent sector to drive the Selangor and National economic growth. Rapid aviation activity in the state triggers multiple tiers of industries which dependent on the air transport for their production and services.
Selangor Aerospace Action Plan 2020-2030 has been established to supplement the Malaysian Aerospace Blueprint 2030 which suppressing on core sub-sector of MRO, Aerospace Manufacturing, System Integration, Engineering & Design and Training & Education.
Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport or used to be known as Subang Airport was established on August 30, 1965 marked the beginning of the aviation industry growth in Selangor. Within the Petaling District, the airport experienced series of changes including the surrounding area and beyond the district to supplement the aviation activities there. Since the establishment of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in 1998, Subang Airport remain relevant with Domestic Flight and General Aviation activities.
Looking at the mature aerospace eco system within the Subang Airport vicinity, the vibration of aviation growth sparks many action plan by the states agencies and private sectors which is now visible with rapid development in the area. Sky Park, Asia Aerospace City and Subang Aero-Tech Park are the current ongoing development besides the existing aero industry players.
In line with the development momentum of the area, Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) wish to participate in the development mainstream by offering the 22.39 acres piece of property within the prime location having direct access to the taxiway of Subang Airport to be proposed a lucrative and sustainable aerospace activity.
Figures above describes the said property. Nature of the property is direct access to the taxiway which connected to the Subang International Airport. Currently the surrounding are the aviation operators, training and MRO.
PNSB has tender out a Request for Proposal (RFP) looking for an aviation companies, consortium or business entity to setup business on this property in regard to aerospace activity. The proposal is not limited to collaboration, purchase of the property, leasing OR profit sharing. Other potential means of benefits may be considered.
